The Illusionist

The latest movie I saw. It was actually an old movie, first came out in 2006. But, it was genius! You cannot guess exactly what was happened then afterall it's all you have to remind yourselves that this movie is about illusion. It's ALL illusion.

The movie based on Steven Millhauser's story "Eisenheim the Illusionist". It tells about Einsenheim as a stage magician who amazed the audience in Vienna including catching the attention of Prince Leopold and the love of his life; Sophie. He used his supernatural ability to get his love back. Here, the audience will be amazed by the tricks and plots of the story.

Must watch movie. Especially for those who like movies that can make you think; unpredictable plots or whatever it is.

THE MOFFATTS

The Moffatts is a band consists of four brothers. The oldest one names Scott Andrew Moffatt. You may call him Scott or Elvis (his favorite singer). He was born on March 30, 1983. The three youngest ones are fraternal triplet, they are Clinton Thomas John Moffatt (nickname; Clint or CT), Robert Peter Franklin Moffatt (nickname; Bob) and David Michael William Moffatt (nickname Dave or Big D). They were born on March 8, 1984.

The Moffatts started their debut album when they were still kids. They sang country songs and performed together with their father Frank Moffatt which was also a musician that time. Their songs such as I Think She Likes Me, Don't Judge a Book by its Cover, and Guns of Love were some of the famous one. Once they grew up, they changed their music type into pop-alternative. They made an album called Chapter one: A New Beginning. Lots of great songs coming from this album such as Miss You Like Crazy, I'll be There For You, and Crazy. They also made the US version of Chapter One: A New Beginning almost the same time with their last debut album; Submodalities. Most of the songs are the same, only some new songs introduced like Until You Loved Me and Misery. Submodalities changed The Moffatts image a little bit. They changed their songs into alternative-rock. But their songs are still nice. You may listen to Bang Bang Boom and Just Another Phase.

They made a break up in 2001. Scott Moffatt had enough of the comparisons to boy-bands and felt that the band wasn't receiving the credit they deserved as both musicians and entertainers, and now that he had completed his five year commitment to the band, chose to quit. Dave Moffatt continued his study in Canada. There was a rumor about his sexuality as a gay, but I myself never want to believe it even if it's true. Clint and Bob Moffatt still in music industry made their own band named Pusch which then renamed into Hidell, but it wasn't stay long. Then they moved to Thailand and made their own duet; SAME SAME.

The Moffatts, afterall, is a history for me. And I can retell it anytime I want. Love them so much!
